Mappamundi: Sephardic (Ladino) songs

Songs in Ladino have had a particular attraction in the 21st century as there have been more Hispanic people in NC. The idea that there is a Jewish language that came out of Spain in the 15th century and traveled around the Mediterranean Sea (ending up in Brooklyn!) is fascinating.

This is not a complete list. Write if you are interested in having a particular Sephardic song at your event.

A la una Rhodes (Sephardic tradition) - A man celebrates his mother and his beloved as he prepares to go off to war for the "dark one."
