Mappamundi: Spanish songs/instrumentals

Mappamundi: Spanish songs and instrumentals

Our collection of Spanish and Hispanoamerican love songs (including mariachi numbers) was begun for a Scottish-Spanish wedding - the bride, who was from Barcelona, got us rolling with her favorite boleros.

Many of the non-lovesongs were collected recently in Costa Rica. Others were collected in preparation for school concerts funded by grants given to Spanish departments. In one case, we did a half-French and half-Spanish concert, funded jointly by those two departments. We've also learned Argentinian tangos, mariachi tunes and Mexican love songs.
